Volume of foreign investment in Turkey may exceed indicators of 2022

Foreign investment in the Turkish economy according to the results of this year may exceed the indicators of 2022, when 13.3 billion investments were invested in the country. This forecast was shared by the head of the Office of the Investment of the Administration of the President of Turkey Burak Daglyoglu.

According to him, there is generally a “positive investment trend”, and interest in the Turkish economy is increasing.

“The growth of foreign investment in our country in the coming months should not be a surprise for anyone,” Daglyoglu said, recalling that at the end of the first four months of this year, approximately $ 4 billion has already been invested in Turkey.

“Turkey has an attractive market with great capabilities, as well as a profitable geostrategic position, which opens the exit to the market of Asia, Europe and Africa,” said the head of the office.

According to him, one of the priority areas for foreign investors is the “green economy”.

He recalled that the purpose of Turkey to bring its share in the global investment market to 1.5 percent.
