Vote of distrust of government of Moldova failed

In the Parliament of Moldova, a vote of no confidence in the government from the Bloc of Communists and Socialists failed, Moldovan media reported.

On the night of October 19 to 20, the parliament examined the resolution on the votum of no confidence in the cabinet Dorin Republic, which was initiated by the Bloc of the Communists and Socialists.

For a vote of distrust, 16 deputies of the Bloc of Communists and Socialists voted. 60 deputies of the parliamentary majority voted against the vote of distrust.

Bloc of the Communists and Socialists nominated a vote of no confidence in the government on October 5. Deputies from PSRM and PCRM accused the Cabinet of Ministers of impoverishing the population, rising prices and creating a “major” socio-political crisis.

Earlier, Prime Minister of Moldova Dorin Republic responded to the resolution and introduced ideas to the parliament to increase income of citizens. He also called on the Communists and Socialists during trips to Moscow to “ask his loved ones to stop the war in Ukraine”, the consequences of which is also felt by Moldova.
