Warsaw announced non -involvement in explosions of Nord Stream

Poland is in no way connected with sabotage on the North Stream and Northern Stream – 2 (Nord Stream) gas pipelines.

This statement was made by the press secretary of the Minister, coordinating the work of the Polish special services, Stanislav Zharyn.

“Poland had nothing to do with the explosion of” Northern Stream – 1 “and” Northern Stream – 2 “. The reckoning of the Republic of Poland has no reason for these events,” the official wrote on Twitter, commenting on the material of the newspaper The Wall Street Journal.

“Various theories and hypotheses on this subject have been spreading for many months. This resembles the tactics of information noise, the purpose of which is to distort the actual picture of events,” he said.

The hypothesis that the explosion has committed Russia, which had a motive and the ability to conduct such an operation remains in force, added Zharyn.

On Saturday, The Wall Street Journal, citing sources, reported that German investigators are studying data that may indicate that the Nord Stream and North Stream 2 gas pipelines used Poland as an operational base.

At the end of September 2022, after the explosions near the Danish Island of Bournholm, four leaks from two pipelines were found in the Baltic Sea in the Baltic Sea.

On October 10, the Federal General Prosecutor’s Office of Germany began an investigation against an unknown person. The matter concerns suspicions of the deliberate organization of the explosion, as well as in anti -constitutional sabotage.
