Intelligence USA received data indicating that the troops declared by Russia from the border of Ukraine – “Trick”, designed to mislead the United States, reports Washington Post with reference to anonymous officials.
According to the interlocutors of the newspaper, Russia continues to increase the forces at the border.
Washington received “reliable information that Russia’s statements (about the troop of troops) can be part of a disinformation campaign aimed at introducing the United States to delusion,” said one of the sources.
Two other newspaper interlocutors reported additional intelligence, which are talking about the alleged intention of Russia to draw a chemical attack on local residents and accuse Ukraine or the USA.
