Number of water resources of the Karabakh region called.
As the journalists told the Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Vugar Kerimov, in these territories there are 14 rivers and 9 reservoirs:
“River Araz, Bargyushad, Terter, Hercier, Okchu, Lev, Zabuh, Tutnogun, Turagay, Probraj, Gargar, Guru, Hachyn and Kendelen are on the territory of Karabakh. Some of these rivers are reservoirs of Hudapherin, Sarsang, Gyz Galasa , Khachynchay, Ashagy Kendelencha, Sugowuchan, Kendelene-1, Kendelene-2 and Agdamkend. The biggest of these reservoirs is the Hudapherinskoye (1 billion 612 million cubic meters). The largest river – Araz. Its length is 1072 kilometers. “
V.Kerimov noted that the presence of these reservoirs and rivers is very important from the point of view of providing irrigation, drinking water and energy in the Karabakh region.
