Today at FIFA headquarters in Zurich Executive Vice President Affa Elkhan Mamedov met with the head of world football Jianny Infantino.
Elkhan Mamedov thanked the FIFA President on behalf of the head of Affa Rovnag Abdullayeva for his arrival in Baku for last year’s match of the European Championship between Switzerland and Turkey.
Executive Vice President of our Association told Infantino in detail about the projects performed in Azerbaijan related to football infrastructure. Also, the parties discussed the development of football in our country and a mutually beneficial partnership between FIFA and AFFA.
Elkhan Mamedov also told the FIFA President, which in the near future the VAR system will be introduced in the Azerbaijani Premier League, and told the work done in this direction.
