The offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the city of Balakli in the Kharkov region has not yet been officially commented on. Advisor to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Alexei Anthilovich, said the day before that the Russians in the Kharkov region are retreating east, not giving any details.
The country.ua writes that the inhabitants of Balakli told the publication on the morning of September 7 that the night was relatively quiet, and in the morning shelling began again, but less intense than yesterday. According to them, the battles are coming next to the city, there are no fights in the center of Balaklia and there are still Russian troops there. According to the western outskirts of the city, they do not have accurate data.
The publication notes that, judging by various information, Ukrainian forces are trying to surround the Balakliy, cutting it off from the north and from the south, and then force Russian troops to leave the city on the road to the east, or to cut it, taking Russian forces in Balakley surrounded.
Another goal of the Armed Forces is to take an important transport hub of Volokhov Yar, from where the roads come from the north to raisins and Balakli. The network also publishes a video of the Ukrainian military, which allegedly went on the road from Volokhov Yar to raisins. The Russians write that the road from Balaklia to Volokhov Yar is already shot by the Armed Forces, and Balakley itself is in an operational environment.
