The official representative of the US President Administration Jen Psaki criticized American oil companies for an inappropriate use of profits in the conditions of growing demand within the country, RIA Novosti reports.
“Currently, the oil and gas pipe industry is obtained by super-profile, as evidenced by reports. However, instead of acting in accordance with the current demand, most companies decide on the return of funds to investors and shareholders with shares and dividends”, – noted she.
It is noted that the list of petrolevants included Occidental Petroleum, Marathon Oil and Pioneer Natural Resources, which announced the lack of plans to increase production.
Previously, Washington banned imports and other energy resources, including natural gas.
