The State Property Service has begun to the process of preparing the privatization of the Shekinsky Wine Factory, one of the 7OO enterprises excluded on October 29th of this year by order of the head of state from the structure of the Azerbaijan Industrial Corporation CJSC (APC). Ask şəki şərab LLC Renamed to LLC “şki şərab”, and its authorized capital is reduced from 5 million 527.5 thousand to 4.5 million manat.
Agency argues that the method and timing of the privatization of the plant is not yet reported.
Plant was built in 2006, in the village of Chelabyan of the Shekinsky district. The company takes 0.29 hectares of land. There is an administrative building, a packing shop, a grape reception workshop, guest house, etc. The plant is equipped with the equipment of the Italian brand “DELLA TOFFOLA” and can be processed for the year 3 thousand tons of grapes. The annual capacity of the production of wine raw materials is 200 thousand decaliters or 2.66 million bottles of grape wines. In 2019, 10 high-quality wines were produced under the brands “Bouquet Sheki” and “Askona”.
According to the APC, after the transfer to the Balance of the Corporation, the Shekinsky Wine Plant purchased 400 tons of grapes and called 500 thousand liters of wine material.
