Women’s protests in Iran

In Iran, women began a protest of protest after the death of a 22-year-old girl from the city of Sexiez, who was scored by police police officers due to the fact that her head was allegedly loosely covered by a hijab. The authorities said that the girl died of a heart attack after four days of a coma.

As MK reports, the protests began at the girl’s funeral, and the police dispersed them with shots and tear gas. After that, Iranian women staged a flash mob on social networks. They began to shoot on the video how they cut long hair and burn the hijabs.

In Tehran announced the beginning of the investigation: the police involved in the death of the girl are under investigation. They can face up to 10 years in prison.
