Zakharova responded to Pashinyan’s proposal about international observers

“cannot be replaced by the acting real something imaginary.” This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova at a briefing on Thursday, commenting on the statement of Armenian Prime Minister Nikola Pashinyan about international observers on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.

Recall that earlier Pashinyan suggested to resolve the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border to deploy an international observation mission there.

“We advocate the complete and strict implementation of all those agreements that were concluded by three countries to resolve the protracted conflict that was broken many times,” Zakharova said.

.

She stated that “a lot is outlined there, there is both theory and practice, there is a statement of what happened and plans for the future.”

“These documents are agreed not just between the intermediary and a separate country, but between the countries that are part of this long history of the conflict. They are invaluable and are a real rather than imaginary road map,” she said.

At the same time, Zakharova said that many people, politicians, public figures, both inside various states and outside, want to replace what they agreed on with their ideas.

“They promise a lot, they know how to promise. To do, however – they did not do many, there were no results. But those agreements that were on paper were not left, they are realized in stages, step by step. Everything is realized as you want, because I always want a maximum, but it works, ”she said.
