“Moscow is ready to promote the normalization of relations between Ankara and Yerevan.” This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharov, RIA Novosti reports.
According to her, Russia comes from the fact that the normalization of Armenian-Turkish relations will contribute to the recovery of the general situation in the region and will help the formation of a healthy atmosphere of trust and good neighborliness.
“Russia is ready to promote this process in every way,” added Zakharov.
She also noted that Moscow welcomes the bilateral dialogue demonstrated by Ankara and Yerevan to discuss the issues of normalization, and the parties’ appointment for these purposes is logical and reasonable.
Recall that earlier the Foreign Minister of Turkey Mevlyut Chavushoglu said that Turkey and Armenia prescribe special representatives to normalize relations.
