A service meeting was held at the central command post on September 10 under the leadership of the Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan said.
The meeting was attended by deputy ministers, commanders of the military of the troops, chiefs of the main departments, departments and services of the Ministry. The commanders of military units and formations deployed in the liberated territories connected to the meeting through video communication. The Minister of Defense spoke about the tasks set by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev before the Azerbaijani army.
During the meeting, operational conditions and the current situation on the Azerbaijani-Armenian state border and in the temporary deployment of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in Azerbaijan were analyzed in detail.
Particularly noting the tension that may arise as a result of intensive shelling of the Armenian armed forces of the Azerbaijani army in the direction of the Kelbadzharsky and Lachinsky districts, the Minister of Defense ordered to be prepared for immediate response to possible provocations against Azerbaijani units.
