Azerbaijani Defense Minister General-Colonel Zakir Hasanov and other managers of the ministry familiarized themselves with the course of command-staff teachings of the naval forces started on Monday.
The Commander of the Navy Council Admiral Subchanging Bekirov reported that the teachings would be carried out on the protection of energy infrastructure in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry reports.
It is noted that the main objective of the exercises is to increase the practical skills of commander and staff officers on operational decision-making and effective use of the existing forces in organizing and conducting hostilities, as well as an increase in knowledge and personnel skills.
