Zelensky invited Russia to withdraw troops from Ukraine to Christmas

Russia can withdraw its troops from the territory of Ukraine to Christmas and prove in such a way that it is able to “abandon aggression” and begin negotiations, said President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky.

“It would be right to start this Christmas to the withdrawal of Russian troops from the international recognized territory of Ukraine,” said Zelensky leaders of the G7 (Great Britain, Germany, Italy, Canada, France, Japan and the USA), the words of which are given by foreign media.

He called such a step to the diplomatic settlement of “specific” and “content.” Moscow could “at least try to prove that it is able to abandon aggression,” Zelensky said. “The invader must leave. This will certainly happen. And I see no reason why Russia cannot be done now, for Christmas,” Zelensky emphasized, expressing the hope that the West will support his call to Moscow.
