Russia must lose the right of a veto in the UN Security Council, at least before the end of the war, said the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky in his appeal to the UN General Assembly.
“You must be isolated from the aggressor, who is involved in decision -making in an international organization, at least until aggression ceases,” Zelensky said, referring to the UN members.
The Ukrainian president proposed creating a special tribunal for Russia’s punishment.
Zelensky also said that since the beginning of his presidency, he held 88 rounds of negotiations with Russia to prevent the war.
He also assured that Ukraine will relieve all its territories over time. “We can do this by the power of weapons, but we need time,” said the President of Ukraine.
