Russia can prepare new blows to Ukraine to destroy the gas transmission infrastructure. So the Russian Federation plans to block gas supplies to Europe, President Vladimir Zelensky said in an interview with the German publication ZDF. His statements are given by Ukrainian media.
The President of Ukraine suggested that Russia is involved in leaks on the Northern Stream gas pipelines. According to him, the Kremlin plans to completely block gas supply to the EU, in particular to Germany.
“They will strike on the gas transportation system of Ukraine. To not accuse them, they will commit an attack on their territory. Because if they hit our gas transmission system, then it is clear that they are. There will be large penalties,” – – President explained.
Zelensky believes that, having damaged the gas infrastructure, the Russians will demand from Germany to relieve sanctions and launch Nord Stream-2.
