Zhaparov also emphasized the work of the Kyrgyz rescuers to save human lives from the consequences of a large earthquake in Turkey in February this year. “Rescuers of the Ministry of Emergencies of the Kyrgyz Republic were engaged in search and rescue operations around the clock and were able to show high results. They justified the hopes and desires of the people who had the breath and once again proved that they were worthy descendants of their ancestors,” he said.
According to him, the Kyrgyz Republic is located in mountainous areas, where various natural disasters occur, and the Ministry of Emergency Situations, including rescue service, occupies a special place in the national security system. “Therefore, the state focuses on the prevention of emergency situations, natural disasters and the provision of rescuers with the necessary equipment for emergency rescue operations. In addition, work will continue on the comprehensive support of our rescuers,” Zhaparov said.
