11th Kurultai Of Turkic Medical World Began Its Work In Ankara

Under the auspices of the Administration of the President of Turkey, the Ministry of Health and the Turkish Health Institutes (TÜSEB), the 11th Kurultai of the Turkic Medical World began work in Ankara.

At the Kurultai of the Turkish Medical World, organized in a hotel under the slogan “Producing Health” and lasting 3 days, in addition to scientific research, events related to the development of the medical industry were also comprehensively reviewed.

On the first day of the forum, strategic events are held meetings shaping the future of healthcare. They are attended by Nobel Prize winner Professor Aziz Sancar.

Sancar took part in various panel discussions organized by TÜSEB institutes and received information about ongoing research in the field of cell and gene therapy, vaccines and chronic diseases.

At a panel discussion organized by TÜSEB Vaccine Institute, he praised Turkey’s work in the field of vaccines.

Noting that progress is being made in the field of vaccination very important research, the scientist said: “We are proud of you. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Turkey immediately started producing vaccines. There were disputes in America and Europe that vaccines cause diseases, but we did not have it as much as in the West. We are a more intelligent people.”

Aziz Sancar also expressed gratitude for the interest shown in him at the panel discussions in which he participated.

TÜSEB President Professor Umit Kervan in his speech at the meeting The Turkish Institute of Biotechnology has issued the following call to scientists and researchers:

“Make TÜSEB your center. Use us for development, for growth with new technologies. Our goal is to become a common meeting place for everyone involved in these issues in Turkey. We can open access to the data collected at the National Genomic Center of Turkey for your research.”
