The joint activities of the Food Security Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan and other relevant structures on the withdrawing restrictions on the export of tomatoes and apples from the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Russian Federation were informed, HAQQIN.AZ was informed in the agency’s press service.
In the framework of the joint activities of the Agency’s specialists and employees of the Federal Service for the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision (Rosselkhoznadzor), joint video monitoring on enterprises for the production of tomatoes operating in the territory of the republic continue. At the same time, information on recreational activities carried out at enterprises and the results of the research carried out are regularly represented by the Russian side. As a logical result of the work done, Rosselkhoznadzor from May 14, 2021 allowed more than 30 producers of tomatoes to export tomatoes into this country.
So, today, today, the relevant authority of the Russian Federation issued permission to export products to Russia 126 Azerbaijani enterprises for the production of tomatoes. Currently, the export potential of enterprises admitted to the export of tomatoes to Russia is 288,414 tons, which is 160.2% of the volume of tomatoes that were exported to Russia for 2020.
