According to the minister, the criminals were detained in Georgia, Germany, Greece, Belgium, Serbia and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. Among them are 14 persons wanted by the “red ballot” Interpol, and 1 – on the national wanted list.
Yerlikaya emphasized that the location of the suspects was established on the basis of analysis of data from the Interpol bases, police information systems, open sources, social networks, as well as with the participation of specialized units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, including departments of drugs, cybercrete, trading, migration and criminal intelligence.

The Minister said that the detainees are accused of crimes, including drug trafficking, fraud, illegal imprisonment, violence, murder, robbery, sexual violence over the child, escaping from prison, forgery, theft, damage to property, usury and other serious crimes.
“We extracted 15 criminals from six countries. From the beginning of the work of the current government, we managed to return to the country of 407 wanted persons. We breathe in their backs – no one will leave responsibility,” Yerlika added, expressing gratitude to the Ministry of Justice and his employees for support, as well as congratulating the Main Directorate of the Interpol and Europol on a successful operation.
