In Istanbul, the 17th International Exhibition of Defense Industry began work (IDEF 2025).
IDEF 2025 is held in the Istanbul exhibition center (̇FM) with the organizational support of Kfa Fuarcılık Aivers.
The event is held under the auspices of the Ministry of National Defense of Turkey, with the assistance of the defense industry management under the Presidential Administration and under the leadership and responsibility of the Turkish Armed Forces support Fund. The global information partner is the Anadola agency.
This year, the heads of delegations – ministers, more than 120 deputy ministers, chiefs of the General Staff of the Armed Forces and commanders of the types of troops from 33 countries will take part in the exhibition. The IDEF 2025 exhibition presents the stands of participants from 44 states. More than 400 international companies will demonstrate their products.
The exhibition presents the main combat tanks, armored combat equipment, electronic warfare systems, missiles and controlled shells, tactical ballistic missiles, anti -aircraft missile systems and unmanned ground vehicles.
The aircraft section presents aircraft with a fixed wing, air defense systems, electronic warfare technologies, satellites, unmanned aerial vehicles and aircraft engines.
In the section of marine equipment at the exhibition, combat and auxiliary ships, aircraft with a fixed wing, rifle aircraft, unmanned surface and underwater vehicles (UAVs), as well as control and communication systems. In addition, visitors will present technologies in the field of safety and logistics.
This year, the main events of the IDEF 2025 will be held not only in the Istanbul exhibition center, but also at four sites: Ataturk Airport, Marina Ataki and the Wow Congress Center. The last two days the exhibition will be open to the general public.
The festival will end on July 27.
