Over the past day, 195 new cases of coronavirus infection have been identified in Azerbaijan. At the same time, 71 patients were discharged after completion of treatment, according to the report of the Operational Headquarters for the Fight Against Coronavirus under the Cabinet of Ministers on Monday, March 8.
Over the past day, six people have died from complications of existing diseases, whose testing for coronavirus gave a positive result.
In total, 236 963 cases of coronavirus infection were detected in Azerbaijan, of this number 229 789 people were treated safely, 3 247 patients of clinics died. Treatment of 3,927 people infected with COVID-19 continues in special hospitals.
A total of 2,657,999 tests were carried out in the country to detect coronavirus infection, including 4,624 over the past day.
