Approximately 20 countries announced new packages of assistance to Ukraine in the field of security, the Minister of Defense Lloyd Austin said during Monday of the Virtual meeting on Monday, Reuters reports.
Among countries that announced new packages, Italy, Denmark, Greece, Norway and Poland, Austin told reporters after a meeting of the contact group on the defense of Ukraine.
According to the head of the US military department, Denmark will provide Harpoon anti -ship missiles and launch units to them to protect the coast of Ukraine.
“All those present here understand how great the bets are in this war,” he stated.
