When classifying expenses in socio -economic areas for 2024, the greatest share was the development of general scientific knowledge in universities – 68.3%. This is followed by industrial production and technology – 9.3%, the development of general scientific knowledge at the expense of other sources – 5.2%, agriculture – 4.3%and defense – 4%.

in 2024, 1.03 billion of lyre were allocated from the budget. The main part – 461 million lires – received organizations that implement international scientific projects.
Further followed by bilateral and multilateral state programs – 367 million lires, and the Panger scientific programs – 202 million lires. Of this amount, 500 million lires are intended for bilateral and multilateral international programs, 475 million lires for organizations conducting international research, and 198 million lires for European projects in this area.
