25 people became victims of armed attacks in Nigeria

At least 25 people became victims of armed attacks in Benue in the southeast of Nigeria, many were injured.

According to the head of the local government of Katsin Ala Atere Alfred, several villages were attacked.

Police press secretary Benue Katrin Anena said that additional forces were transferred to the region, an investigation has begun.

In the north of Nigeria, fierce clashes between Fulani engaged in animal husbandry and some tribes engaged in agriculture take place from time to time.

Nomadic Fulani claim that farmers are attacking them and trying to steal cattle.
