In the presence of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and South Korean President Lee Jae-myung, three agreements were signed between the two countries.
After one-on-one and inter-delegation meetings, the signing ceremony of the agreements was held at the Presidential Residence in Ankara.
Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş and Minister of Patriots and Veterans Affairs of the Republic of Korea Kwon Oheul signed “Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Family Affairs and Social Services of the Republic of Turkey and the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs of the Republic of Korea on cooperation in the field of remembrance of the Korean War.”
“Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of nuclear energy between the Turkish Nuclear Energy Company (TÜNAŞ) and the Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO)” was signed by TÜNAŞ General Director Necati Yamac and KEPCO General Manager Kim Dong-chul.
The “Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Turkey, the General Administration of Highways and the Korea Highway Agency and the Korea Infrastructure and Urban Development Agency Overseas” was signed by the Director General of the General Administration of Highways Ahmet Gülşen and the portfolio minister of the Korea Highway Agency and the Korea Overseas Agency infrastructure and urban development, as well as the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea in Ankara, Chung Young-du.
