at least 33 million people, or about 15% of the total population of the country, suffered from floods in Pakistan. This was reported by CNN TV channel with reference to representatives of local authorities.

According to the National Disasternation Combating Disaster, since mid -June, 937 people have died in Pakistan as a result of severe rains and floods, including 326 children.

The Pakistani Minister for Climate Change Sherry Rehman called the floods “unprecedented” and “the most terrible humanitarian catastrophe of the decade.” According to her, the country “is experiencing the eighth rain season, while only three or four seasons usually happen.”

The country is felt an acute lack of shelters and the number of homeless ones is growing rapidly, and the floods themselves have currently become a priority area of state activity, which also urges neighboring countries to help, since Pakistan is no longer enough.
