Over the past day, 365 new cases of coronavirus infection have been identified in Azerbaijan. At the same time, 175 patients were discharged after completion of treatment, according to the report of the Operational Headquarters for the Fight Against Coronavirus under the Cabinet of Ministers on Friday, March 5.
Over the past day, three people who tested positive for coronavirus have died from complications of existing diseases.
A total of 236,012 cases of coronavirus infection have been identified in Azerbaijan, of which 229,442 people have been successfully treated, 3,235 patients of clinics have died. Treatment of 3,335 people infected with COVID-19 continues in special hospitals.
During the specified period, 2,635,770 tests were carried out to detect coronavirus infection, including 7,779 – over the past day.
