At least 4 US C-17A Globemaster III military transport aircraft with American paratroopers arrived in Poland, Interfax-Ukraine writes.
According to media reports, we are talking about divisions from the 82nd Airborne Division of the US Army. Airplanes flew from the Fort Bragg base landed at the airport of the Polish city of Rzeszow, located 90 km from the border with Ukraine.
By decision of Washington, there will be a total of 1.7 thousand American paratroopers in the brigade combat group 82 of the airborne division.
On the eve of the Rzeszow-Yasenko airport, three boards with American paratroopers landed. Another Transportist C-17A Globemaster III arrived with a cargo from the air base under the city of Dover. According to reports, 750 servicemen of the 18th Airborne Division of the US Army has already been deployed to Poland.
