57 migrants were saved off coast of Izmir

Turkey’s coastal guard saved 57 illegal migrants forcibly expelled from the territorial waters of Greece in the direction of the Turkish coast.

As reported on the website of the Turkish coastal protection department, the group of migrants was discovered off the coast of the Menderes of the Izmir Provir in the west of the country.

Migrants tried to get to the Greek coast on inflatable boats.

At the same time, 43 illegal migrants of foreign origin, which went to sea in an inflatable boat, were detained off the coast of the district. Migrants were taken to the regional migration department.
