58 illegal migrants were saved off coast of Izmir

Air illegal migrants, including 11 children,

, were rescued off the coast of the districts of Ural, Czech and Selchuk in Izmir.

According to the report staged on the coast guard command, the coast guard boat was sent to the Czech area after receiving information on the detection of illegal migrants on a rubber boat.

The teams saved 36 illegal migrants supplanted by Greek elements to the territorial waters of Turkey and delivered them to the shore.

Off the coast of the Selchuk, coast guard officers detained 15 migrants, 9 of which are children.

Another group of 9 illegal migrants was discovered in the Urla region.

After the completion of the necessary procedures, illegal migrants were sent to provincial migration department.
