The Stand of the Zero Waste Foundation attracts great attention at the 7th festival of ethno-sports culture.
The festival organized by the World Ethnosport Association with the participation of Anadolu agency as a global communication partner at the Ataturk Airport continues the second day.
, in the framework of the festival, in which representatives of about 35 countries take part, various events are held in traditional sports, national arts and gastronomy.
The Stand of the Waste Foundation arouses great interest to visitors, especially among young people.
The exposition of the fund is aimed at increasing youth awareness of waste processing. The pavilion organize master classes on watercolor painting using plant waste, weaving design using textile waste, painting a batik using tea plants and the production of fiber from plant leaves.
Citizens can calculate their carbon trace and water consumption using a computer system and sign a global declaration of goodwill “Zero waste”, which has found wide support all over the world.
The festival will end on Sunday May 25.
