83 percent of Japanese opposed Olympics

43% of Japan residents were abolished by the Olympiad 2020 on the background of the coronavirus pandemic. Another 40 percent of the Japanese spoke in favor of re-delayed the competition, Gazeta.ru reports.

Interestingly, since March and April, when similar surveys were conducted, the number of residents of Japan, supporting the holding of games, declined exactly twice – from 28 to 14%. At the same time, 59% of the survey participants oppose the audience in the stands, if the Olympiad in Tokyo still takes place.

Summer games 2020 will be held in Tokyo from July 23 to August 8. Competitions were postponed from 2020 for 2021 due to coronavirus pandemic. Due to the threat of dissemination of the disease, it was decided to hold Olympic competitions without foreign spectators.
