As a result of employees of the Main Directorate for Combating Trafficking in Persons of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Operational Events, a resident of the Zagalovsky district Sevinj Dumushev was detained.
She is suspected of exposed to citizens of Azerbaijan of sexual exploitation in Istanbul, where they took them under the pretext of employment.
For this fact, a criminal case was initiated under articles 144-1.2.1, 144-1.2.2, 144-1.2.4-1 and 144-3.4 (trafficking in persons) of AR. The investigation of the case was completed and sent to the Baku Court of Grave Crimes for consideration. By the decision of the court, S.Durmushev was convicted and sentenced to nine years in prison.
