The prosecutor’s office of the Neftchalinsky district conducted an investigation into the appropriation of funds by officials of the district municipality at different times, the Prosecutor General’s Office said.
During the investigation, thorough suspicions appeared that the chairman of the municipality, Rovshan Guliev, unreasonably wrote off from the budget of the municipality of food aid in the amount of 3 thousand 236 manats, as well as 8 thousand 600 money of funds transferred by the product store through a payment order.
In fact, a criminal case has been instituted in the prosecutor’s office of the Neftchalinsky district under Articles 179.2.3 (assignment or embezzlement using their official position) and 179.2.4 (assignment or embezzlement with a cause of significant damage) of the Criminal Code of AR.
The investigation in the case continues.
