On October 12, the next meeting of the Committee of the Chiefs of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Commonwealth of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) will be held in Baku.

According to the Ministry of Defense of the AR, the meetings will be attended by the chiefs of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and the military attache of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Russian Federation.
The first deputy Minister of Defense of the Azerbaijan Republic – chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijani Army, will be chairing the meeting, Colonel General Kerim Veliev.
