According to the Social Service Agency plan under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Azerbaijan, in 2022 another five specialized social services centers will be created in Baku, HAQQIN.AZ reported in the ministry.
It is reported that two of them will provide social rehabilitation services to children with disabilities.
It is also planned to create a health center with families left for children without supervision, and a reintegration center to prevent children from entering children’s institutions.
Every year the provision of rehabilitation social services is expanding to victims of domestic violence in Azerbaijan.
Last year, the Center for the Assistance of Vulnerable Groups in the Shelter and Social Rehabilitation Institution began working, “the report says.
It is noted that in 2022, a center will be created as a pilot project to assist victims of domestic violence.
