A resident of Sumgait will judge for murder of a grandmother

The investigation in the criminal case against the 27-year-old Nijat Aliyev, accused of the murder of his 84-year-old grandmother Ganira Mehdihanly, was completed, Haqqin.az reports.

Materials in the criminal case were sent to the Sumgaita court for serious crimes. The case will be considered by Judge Hafiz Aliyev.

Note that the murder of an elderly woman was committed on June 25. During the preliminary investigation, thorough suspicions appeared that Ganir Mehdihanly was killed by her grandson Nijat Aliyev, strangling the woman with a rope. The young man was detained and attracted to the investigation.

Ganira Mehdihanly was known as a poetess, she also headed the Sumgaite department of the Ashugov Union of Azerbaijan.
