In the Sumgaita court for serious crimes, the trial in the criminal case of the 29-year-old Agabek Atabalaev, accused of intentionally murder with particular cruelty, was completed.
According to haqqin.az, the murder occurred on June 23 last year in the village of Tagiev, the city of Sumgait. Atabalaev, during a quarrel, inflicted 42 stab wounds on his 50-year-old neighbor Seville Abdullaeva.
Agabek Atabalaev in his testimony stated that his parents had died 13 years ago, he lived with his brothers Azer and Rufat. According to Atabalaev, the neighbor Seville Abdullaev always scandalized, and also, in his opinion, led an indecent lifestyle. “In May last year, Seville tied the dog to an iron fence separating our houses. Atabalaev also said that between his younger brother Rufat and daughter Seville, Salmaz, romantic relations developed (a few months after the murder they got married – approx. Ed.). Agabek told his relatives about the disagreements between him and the neighbor. Upon learning of this, Seville rolled a scandal, insulting also the mother of Agabek. After some time, an angry man penetrated the house of a neighbor and inflicted 42 stab wounds on her. Abdullaeva died from the wounds on the spot.
The daughter of the murdered, Solmaz Abdullaeva, said that on the day of the incident she met Agabek and his brother Azer at the door: “Agabek said that she wanted to talk to his mother. We talked about the four of them. Agabek said that he wanted to end all the disputes. After They left the house, and I went to Sumgait. ” Returning home about an hour later, the girl found her mother in a pool of blood.
by a decision of the court, Agabek Atabalaev was sentenced to 17 years in prison with serving a sentence in a maximum security colony.
