Abdullah Shahid recognized “Genocide of Armenians”, and then deleted record

The chairman of the UN General Assembly Abdullah Shahid, who is in Armenia on a working visit, visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial.

Then the Shahid made an entry following a visit to the Tsitermanakababer memorial complex – but left it for a short time.

“laid a wreath to the memorial to the victims of the” Genocide of Armenians. “Special thanks to the director of the Museum -Institute of Armenians Arutyun Marutyan and Asmik Martirosyan for a tour of the museum,” Shahid wrote, but deleted the publication after a couple of hours.

Note that Abdullah Shahid has been holding the post of chairman of the UN General Assembly since 2021. From 2008 to 2014, he was the speaker of the Parliament of the Maldives of the Republic of Maldives, and since 2018 he heads the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of this country.
