About 45 employees of the Russian Embassy in Chisinau, their families, as well as technical personnel today leave the territory of Moldova, Moldipers reports with reference to the press service of the Foreign Ministry.
About 100 people had to leave the territory of the Republic of Moldova until August 15. They will go to the charter flight, which should fly out at 9:00 local time.
Previously, the Foreign Ministry established that from August 15, 2023 the number of diplomatic posts at the Russian Embassy will be reduced. The decision is aimed at equalizing the number of diplomatic personnel with the number of diplomatic personnel of Moldova in the Russian Federation.
Currently, about 70 employees are working in the Russian Embassy.
