The Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich met with the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Muhammad Bin Salman as part of negotiations on the exchange of prisoners between Ukraine and Russia, writes Bloomberg.
The meeting of the businessman and the prince was held at the end of August in Riyadh, but the details were not published, since the event was closed.
The British media reported that Abramovich “played a key role” in the release of five citizens of Great Britain who was captured in Ukraine and returned as part of an exchange.
John Harding, who was one of the prisoners, claimed that an assistant to a billionaire told him about this.
