The former owner of the London Chelsea, the Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich will not buy a Turkish football team. The press service of Abramovich denied information about the possible purchase of a Turkish club.
“Information is not true. Mr. Abramovich did not move to Istanbul and is not going to buy a Turkish football club,” the Russian media write, referring to the press service of the oligarch.
Earlier, the Turkish edition of Hurriyet reported that the ex-owner of Chelsea decided to move to Istanbul and is considering the possibility of buying a Turkish football club.
