Acting President South Korea Khan Dock Su Resigned

Acting President South Korea Prime Minister Khan Dock Su resigned. This was reported on May 1 by Yonhap.

“After long and thorough thoughts about whether this decision is really justified and inevitably, having weighed the entire severity of the responsibility lying on me at this difficult time, I came to the conclusion: if this is the only way out- I must choose it,” said Khan Doco at a press conference in Seoul.

It is believed that the khan, who acted as the president after the resignation of Yun Suk Yolya, resigned with the intention of participating in the presidential election.

Presidential elections in South Korea are scheduled for June 3.
