Advisor to the Deputy State Secretary of the United States for Energy Diplomacy Laura Lokhman attended Azerbaijan to meet with representatives of the government and participate in the IX meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Southern Gas Corridor, the US Embassy in Azerbaijan said.
Lokhman leads the group of energy diplomacy in the Bureau of Energy Resources of the State Department.
She will discuss the support of the United States of Azerbaijan Energy Projects, as well as the importance of Azerbaijan in the promotion of the stabilization of the energy security of Europe, including the southern gas corridor.
The visit of the American diplomat will last until February 4.
