Another meeting of the Council Council (COP) on the project “Southern Gas Corridor” (South Council) will be held in Baku on February 3, the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan said.
The meeting is planned to participate in representatives of the countries and the company involved in the implementation of the YUGK project and a number of international organizations.
The YUGK project is aimed at diversification of routes and sources of energy supplies, thereby contributing to the strengthening of European energy safety. The project cost amounted to 33 billion dollars with a forecast of $ 45 billion.
