Afghan Administration: Pakistani Attacks Kill 12 People

Afghan authorities reported the death of 12 people in new clashes with Pakistani forces near the Durand Line, considered the official border between the two countries.

As reported by Tolo News, citing Afghan government spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid, “as a result of attacks carried out by Pakistani forces using light and heavy weapons in area of Spin Boldak, Kandahar province, 12 civilians were killed.” According to him, more than 100 people were injured.

In addition, Mujahid claims that Afghan forces were forced to take retaliatory measures.

He noted that during these operations several Pakistani troops were eliminated, their checkpoints and bases were captured, and some military installations were destroyed.
