After 7 years, Iranian consulate in Saudi Arabia again opened in Gidda

After 7 years, the Iran’s consulate in Saudi Arabia and the constant representative office of Iran at the organization of Islamic cooperation (OII) were reopened in Gidda.

According to the official Iran of Iran, Irana’s official news agency, at the opening ceremony of the consulate in Jidd and the permanent representative office of Iran at the OIS, officials of both countries were present.

Following the official opening of Iran’s Embassy on June 6 in Riyadh, a consulate in Gidda and the permanent representation of Iran during the organization of Islamic cooperation were opened a day later.

In the opening ceremony of the Iranian Embassy in Riyadh, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ali Riza Bigdel took part.
