French President Emmanuel Macron reported that after a conversation with the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin held a conversation with the Ukrainian counterpart Vladimir Zelensky.
“I said today with President Putin, and then with the President Zelensky. We are working to preserve the inviolability of civilian nuclear facilities in Ukraine, in addition to the priority requirements for Russia: the cessation of fire and the protection of civilians,” wrote Macron Twitter.
Earlier, the Elysee Palace said that Macron, during the conversation, Putin declared serious concerns about risks for nuclear safety as a result of the RF invasion of the Russian Federation.
